Expert have found the similarities between Mumbai and Lahore attack to cities evidence to show that terrorist were changing tactics going for commando style after suicide bombings. Intelligence division of network police department have done a study of the terrorist styles and said there was evidence of shift in technique from suicide bomb to commando style with small team of trained people with heavily armed operatives.
The newyork city police commissioner Raymond said that we are paying very close attention to this trend.Kelly also pointed out other similarities of choice of location that is dense ,relatively unprotected urban areas where the terrorist can establish strategic choke points to the response of authorities.He said that we also know some of the detailed pre attack carried out in both attacks .Same both set of attackers coordinated their movement closely with the use of basic technology like cell phones in Mumbai and small battery powered two way radios in Lahore.Both groups were calm,no hurry and methodical .They also carried food and drugs to increase their stamina and performance.In Mumbai the terrorist used cocaine to stay awake.
