The saffron partners BJP and Shiv sena has almost finalized the seat sharing issues in Maharashtra. They are yet to announce the details officially. All the issues are resolved and they may announce the same probably on Friday.
According to the party leaders BJP will contest in 26 seats and Shiv sena will contest in 22 seats in the upcoming loksabha elections in Maharashtra. After the meeting of state leaders of both the parties, they were agreeing to the deal without much argument.
In the most sought after Mumbai South seat, Shiv Sena will contest while in Bhiwandi BJP will field their candidate. Mohan Rawla, the popular Shiv sena leader will be contesting from the crucial Mumbai South seat.
According to Shiv sena Executive president Udhav Thackeray, the alliance will make both the parties stronger and there is every possibility to have a big sweep in favor of Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra.
