Even though India stressed on gains from a biberal H-18 visa regime new delhi has said that granting of such visas are right of United states.H1-B is not a problem that India and US can negotiate and discuss.This is not the part of bilateral and it cant be by definition said the foreign ministry shiva shanka menon at the end of his visit with the US officials.
He said that H1-B were mentioned in the conversation and we discussed the situation.We were told what the current policy is for the united states to decide and we talked about it.
